Apparently the instance servers bugged out tuesday night, leaving us with a 4/6 cleared ZA instead of the fresh one we were expecting. We were planning on rushing through the 4 animal bosses and then having goes at Malacrass, so thank Blizz for doing half the work for us
Not a really interesting fight, you either fail on the spirit bolts or you don’t. Class abilities add a bit of depth, but nothing you need to account for. After a few wipes due to slacking healers and people being out of range of the CoH we managed to grasp the idea of staying together and downed him with ease. Congrats Oogre on the Cloak of Ancient Rituals and Flodeko on the battlesworn tuskguard!

So tonight we were planning on killing Al’ar. Long story short: We killed Lurker, Maulgar, Gruul and we had a go at Doomwalker (Who got 1-shot).
So, yeah, new kill for us, Doomwanker… I’d like to say it’s a fun or hard fight, but it really isn’t. Free lewt, and BoE to boot!

These last few weeks Asgard has had to do without my shining presence guiding them onwards and upwards!
Guess what? The buggers didn’t need it either ;( Both Halazzi and Jan’alai fell to our might, Halazzi during our first night of tries even. I wasn’t present so I can’t comment on how the fight went, but knowing my guys… Well, let’s keep it at the fact that the bosses are dead, shall we?

Last tuesday we were going to raid ZA. Apparently, we took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up in SSC instead… That’s what you get for following me!
Well, we figured while we’re here we might as well see about catching some fish, so the night wouldn’t be a complete waste. What do you know, we caught a whopper! I swear to you, it was this big!/anglerboast
Even though the fish put up one hell of a fight, we landed it without too much effort in the end.
Congrats everyone on our very first SSC kill, the sky is the limit now! Also, congrats Terrorspawn on the Choker of Animalistic Fury , Quezzie on the Velvet boots of the Guardian, Crov on the Ancestral Ring of Conquest, and Tabbeh on some random Leatherworking pattern!

Tonight, it was back to Gruul’s Lair for some more farmage. Besides Gruul dying on the 9th grow and one of our rogues now being the proud owner of the Dragonspine Trophy, not much to report there. However, afterwards we also headed for some new content: Magtheridon!
Well, what can I say… Magtheridon is probably one of the most nerfed encounters in tBC, so there’s not much glory to be had from the kill. Yet, he’s another step up for us, it was a nice fight, the loot is quite worth it, and most importantly, we had fun on a new encounter
Congrats Taladega, Rohn and Promethazine on T4 chests, Rohn again on the head of Maggy, Flodeko on the girdle of the endless pit, and Dwizard on the eye of Magtheridon. As always we end with a killscreeny:
“Vermin! Leeches! Take my loot and choke on it.”

- The death of a king, the dragonslayer slain.

Tonight Asgard had its first outing into 25-man territory as a guild, and what an outing it turned out to be!
After some mucking about with the Maulgar pull we killed the ugly Ogre without a single casualty. This fight really is all about the pull, and once we found what kind of pull worked for us (BODYPULL BABY! :p) we downed him without any troubles. Congrats Animalzy, Quezzie and Schrodinger on your T4 shoulders.
After the Maulgar warm-up we headed for Gruul. After we were done with him, it was hím who was begging for his life
Ofcourse, his pleas fell unto deaf ears, and he was swiftly slain!Congrats Poi (Solaufein), Stormy and Amo (Taladega) on your T4 legs, Jeneva on the Eye of Gruul, and Whatshisface (Krokben) on the Axe of the Gronn Lords.

- The Eagle has landed!

A week ago we decided to go back to zul’aman for some more content clearing.
After a very succesful start, downing Nalorakk within the sacrifice timer and therefore getting an extra piece of loot, we went for Akil’Zon the Eagle Avatar. It took us a wipe or two to get everyone accustomed to the group hug during storms, but as soon as that was clear, it was bye bye birdie.
Congrats Rohn, our healadin, on the spell damage mainhand, in case you ever go prot…

- 25-man content cooped to death

It’s been a rather quiet few weeks on our front page as we’ve mostly been recruiting for 25-man runs and farming Kara in the meantime, so I figured it’s time to change that.
You see, we’ve not only been farming Kara and recruiting. Oh no, we’ve also been busy in coops clearing and learning 25-man content
While I don’t have killshots of most of these fights, I’m sure you’ll take my word for it when I say we’ve downed something
I’d like to give a big thanks to Oathbreakers who’ve been our coop partners through quite a few runs, who we’ve joined forces with to down the likes of High King Maulgar, Gruul, Void Reaver and Solarian. Al’ar has been burned down to Phase 2 as well, so we’re pretty close to 3/4 TK as a coop.
Last wednesday we went to visit mister Maulgar and Sir Gruul again, only this time in the company of the renowned Black Horde! This was our first time cooping together, and it was good to see that a split-off guild and it’s parent, so to speak, can get along and work so well together. We had a warm-up wipe on Maulgar (It’s not a good raid until you’ve wiped at least once!), after that both Maulgar and Gruul went down without much of a struggle.
Congrats Ugga on T4 shoulders, Krokben on T4 panties and all the other lootwhores too ofcourse!

If you’ve been following our front page you’ll know we’ve been killing Prince since day 1. You’ll also know Nightbane and Illhoof died the run after that.Well, it’s time to add another kill to the roster.
Netherspite bit the dust the 12th of februari. 1 wipe to get the beam rotation under control and he was dead, just like that. Kara has been cleared completely, Animal boss and all opera events included.
Can’t finish a kill-post without a screeny ofcourse!
